OUR MISSION
Citrus County Sheriff Foundation, Inc. is a public 501 (c) (3) organization formed to bring together charitable donors, community leaders and non profit organizations in support of, and to encourage, non-tax based philanthropic efforts for the benefit of Citrus County Sheriff's Office Deputies, employees and their families and innovations in crime fighting. All with the goal of enhancing Sheriff's Office services and to enhance the quality of life by reducing crime and the fear of crime throughout Citrus County.
HOW WE HELP
EMPLOYEES
The men and women of the Sheriff's Office dedicate themselves to serving our community, and at times they may face unexpected personal financial challenges. These challenges can arise from circumstances such as injury, illness, or family hardships. The Foundation exists to provide support during these difficult times. Every dollar raised through our fundraising efforts goes directly toward assisting law enforcement employees and their families when they need it most.
FAMILIES
Families of law enforcement officers share in the challenges of public service. When hardships arise, such as injury, illness, or other personal difficulties, the Citrus County Sheriff Foundation Group provides support for spouses and children. Donations make it possible for the Foundation to offer resources and relief that the County cannot provide on its own, ensuring families feel cared for during times of need.
INNOVATIONS
Crime prevention grows more complex every day, and law enforcement must stay equipped with the latest tools and technology to meet new challenges. The Citrus County Sheriff Foundation Group directs donations toward providing innovative resources that strengthen our deputies’ ability to protect families and safeguard the community.
