After successfully serving his country, Mr. Bays continued his studies at USF where he obtained bachelor degrees in both Finance and Economics, and obtained his MBA in Management Systems.

Mike’s career includes ownership roles with Quandt-Ayer and Associates, Inc., a landscape and design firm for Busch Gardens, owner and developer of Icon Pest Control, BFW Properties, Proscape Tree Farm and Alta Terra LLC prior to developing his Michael D. Bays Insurance Agency Inc (State Farm) within the Beverly Hills community, celebrating his 25th year this past September.

Mike and his wife Rebecca both are avid believers in serving the community as witnessed through the multiple charitable entities and boards they currently serve on throughout all of Citrus County.

In the early 90’s, Mike expanded into the medical field developing an oxygen and supply company before serving as CEO for several medical clinics. Currently, Mike is the owner and CEO for Health and Wellcare Services of Florida, Inc., a comprehensive medical clinic serving the Citrus County area.
